We developed a few functions that let Nao communicate in a social way. Nao is able to track faces, divert its gaze towards a moving object and track moving objects. The goal of this behavior is to improve on the social skills of Nao and elicit anthropomorphic views in the user. Nao is now able to use non-verbal interaction, like turn-taking cues, to augment the interaction. Establishing eye-contact is a turn-taking cue. These functions enable Nao to use a context dependent natural way of using these cues.
