KSERA is a research project in the EU's 7th Framework Programme. The main aim is to develop a socially assistive robot that helps elderly people, especially those with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), with their daily activities, care needs and self-management of their disease.Read more >> |
The KSERA project (Knowledgeable Service Robots for Aging, www.ksera-project.eu) is organising a short workshop on ICT and Robotics for Care and Service on Tuesday Dec 11, 4pm - 6:30pm in Hamburg, Germany at the University of Hamburg.
The results of the KSERA project will be presented for discussion and look into future directions.
Furthermore, representatives from related industries will give presentations.
KSERA's strong points are specific mobile robot applications and extensions, a human-centred approach, integration with smart home and experimental evaluation with elderly users.
