To make the interaction between Nao and a person as natural as possible, Nao should be able to detect and react to a number on non-verbal communicative cues. One such cues is the the head pose of the person. Below is a short demo of our neural network approach to head pose estimation. The left windows in the video is the cam stream. The right Matlab window shows the edge detected input image and the output of the network represented by the red arrow.
